Responsible for driving all areas of Risk Management and leads changes that will enhance the credit union's overall risk profile.

Responsible for overall Compliance management and supports all departmental compliance responsibilities. This is to include ensuring that required compliance training for staff is conducted at each location. Serves as chair of the compliance committee.

Responsible for the Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery process. Maintains and updates the Disaster Recovery Plan and coordinates annual review and testing with all managers and staff.

Responsible for the credit union's loan review process.

Ensures that new and existing products and services have adequate risk management and internal controls and are in compliance with current and emerging rules, regulations and best practices as outlines in the credit union's annual business plan.

Serves as Security Officer and conducts new staff security training as well as required annual training at each location.

Assists the management team as needed in document gathering in preparation for audits and regulatory exams.

Coordinates vendor management program.

Coordinates risk management audits.

Three years to five years of similar or related experience.
Baccalaureate degree in a related field.
Interpersonal Skills
Must possess excellent communication skills and strong interpersonal skills and bew able to effectively manager multiple tasks with a strong sense of urgency and analytical skills.  The ability to use related software programs is required.
Other Skills
Must possess credit union/banking industry recognized certification in Compliance or Risk Management or the ability to obtain within 18 months.
