To represent the credit union in a professional manner when greeting members and the general public on the phone and in person, insuring that they are directed to someone who can provide them with assistance.
DUTIES
*Receive and announce visitors and guests to the credit union in a prompt and professional manner. Coordinate follow through so visitors and guests are met promptly.
*Answer telephone, disseminate information or resolve questions, and/or route calls to appropriate individual. Put calls on hold and coordinate flow through so caller is handled as promptly as possible and/or put into voice mail or take message at caller's request.
*Debit card re pining
*Responsible for certificate of deposit program which includes ensuring that interest check are sent out on the day they are cut.
*Serve as teller as needed which includes: Receives and processes member financial transactions such as deposits, withdrawals and loan payments; verifies cash and check endorsements; sells money orders, official checks and stamps to members; transfers amounts from member accounts as directed.
*Provide administrative and clerical support to the branch as needed. This may include but is not limited to: maintaining rate board, ordering supplies, maintaining the pending file, distribute incoming faxes.
*Performs other related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Experience: Six months to two years of similar or related experience.
Education: A high school education or GED.
Interpersonal Skills: Courtesy, tact, and diplomacy are essential elements of the job. Work involves personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization, generally regarding routine matters for purposes of giving or obtaining information which may require some discussion.
Other Skills: Multi line phone system operations. Strong, friendly voice and good diction.
